"Cheyenne" ADOPTED!
Cheyenne found her new family just after New Year. They are a nice retired couple who think she's great! I'm so thankful for all the interest in her, but now she has found her forever home!
Cheyenne is a 14 lb miniature poodle that I took in from the animal control facility in Burnsville. She was found as a stray and never claimed by her family. She is a striking poodle, cream colored with sable ears, meaning they have black tips. She is very pleasant, housetrained, and easy to have around the house. She is under 2 years old and will be spayed at new owners cost prior to leaving here. She likes to play fetch and gets along with dogs of all sizes. She is not aggressive in any way and would be great around older children. She does have one special need. She suffers from extreme seperation anxiety, and cannot be left alone for long periods. She has been crate trained since she has come to live here, but not without (loud) protest. She would be best suited for a retiree, or a family where someone is home the majority of the day, she also does well in dog daycare, if that was an option for her new family. She can be kenneled for a few hours at time, but can only go to a home, not an apartment or shared space. This is probably the reason her previous family dumped her. Overall, she would make an ideal pet fot the right family. Loveable, trainable, and happy, and she is hoping that you will be become her forever family! Pictures uploaded soon. Call to see her or for more info. 12/8/08
